Not Google, but apparently one way some malware tries to hide edits to, say, the hosts file is to create a duplicate hosts file with the cryllic homoglyph for 'o' and then hide the real hosts file. Presumably this would trick user

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not... But the "research" is literally just concluding "Hey, there may be a simple way to test for this incredibly hard-to-diagnose disease".

So what? The "info"graphic just lists some basic nutritional info without much context. It also highlights a few choice ingredients and makes weird comparisons like "this is used as a blowing agent in yoga mats!" or &quo

I think HN just prefers when the comments are on-topic, not "on-message". This topic is "racism in tech", not "let's discuss binary gender roles and what is 'men'".

The "kill yourself" comment is the least inherently gendered one, you're right. The thing is that it appeared on a blog about sexism, therefore it is sexist. If it appeared on a blog about homophobia, it would be homophobic.

This topic was on HN a few days ago: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=10413563 In that article the hacker claims he found sensitive material, and even flagrantly taunted the CIA director with it...

A lot of the "negativity" is more like blunt constructive criticism. I think a founder could post a "Show HN", get blasted with "negativity" in the comments, and then address any issues he thought had merit, an
