The Russian government has been slowly moving everything to the homegrown VLIW architecture known as Elbrus or e2k. Not sure how the sanctions affected this, considering that the high-end implementations (28nm iirc) were being manufactured

I think this is my favourite fantasy movie since... the Lord of the Rings trilogy, really. Apparently it didn't do very well at the box office, and it feels rather unfair.

It's literally SDK, if you care to actually read your link. Not the engine itself: the game-specific logic DLLs (client.dll and server.dll in the game's folder) that hook into the engine, and can be modified to make mods. Valve st

I wish one of these panels invited David Moon, if he's also interested of course. He was one of the main creators of multiple generations of Lisp, and of Apple's Dylan. Not the most popular languages today, but they are very well-

If you control the development of both A and B apps, then not so many. But generally you are not expected to load symbols from another application, you are expected to either use various IPC mechanisms or load symbols from a shared library

Make two apps A and B with their respective main() functions. Add some function foo() to app A. Now try to call A's foo() from B's main(). How many hoops do you need to jump through in every other OS to do this?

Fair enough, it’s just really mind-boggling to me that someone doesn’t know. I’m not a villager, but I’m not a blue-blooded Muscovite either. Perhaps my experience of Russia is still too elevated compared to that of an army’s grunt.

Sure, you can always cherry-pick someone from a remote village so this can't be literally "everybody", but it's absurd to claim that the majority of the population doesn't know about Chernobyl. It was a very hot top
