Interface Hall of Shame: Windows 95 Explorer
- hedora 3y agoOn the one hand, all of the complaints in this article are things I hit and that drove me nuts back in the days of Win 95. On the other hand, the Finder on my shiny new Mac is worse when measured on every dimension this article brings up. “Can’t find the drive letter without scrolling” turns into “we just display shit in random groupings that don’t match the filesystem and hide / and ~”. Also, many filenames are intentionally displayed incorrectly. Don’t get me started on the abomination that is docs.google.com.
