I worry the US internet is trending in that direction. It already sounds too familiar.

I hadn't thought about it that way. We're seeing some resistance in Shanghai, but not enough to stop it. Even when killing pets and separating children from parents. Lack of grocery deliveries. It's scary.

Yes, but that's where it started becoming noticeable. Too much language was being changed in a non-evolutionary way. That's why Bill Maher named his show Politically Incorrect and George Carlin roasted the euphemism treadmill. The

What lies? Let's iterate through them. If you're referring to the funding secured thing, that was true. Watch his TED talk from yesterday where he explains that he was forced to concede by the SF SEC.

From TED yesterday. "Funding was indeed secured. I should say I do not have respect for the SEC in that situation. I don’t mean to blame everyone at the SEC, but certainly the San Francisco office. The SEC knew that funding was secured

Even just him announcing a new platform would scare twitter investors. If successful it'd drive twitter even further down. Paul Graham thinks he would be able to compete: "It is obvious. It's also obvious that Elon could draw
