Yes, and you don’t even need to pass the destination name if it is the same as the source (if your current directory is ~/ of course…) ln -s ~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox

Couldn’t they include two checksums; one for compressed, and if that fails, decompress and check the uncompressed content?

I fly premium economy from Europe to the US 3-4 times per year, and this is usually enough to keep my top-tier status. I fly SAS (preferably) and I try to fly on less popular times of the year/days of the week, which increases my chanc

Interesting . I agree that arms and hands are probably not necessary and that custom tools are better suited. One think that came to mind when you mentioned many chambers and cooking systems; these must be easy to clean to avoid food waste

Agree with this and I also haven’t paid for FSD. Except at some point Tesla offered FSD along with a computer upgrade for about $1500. I took the deal. But I didn’t pay for FSD when I switched to Model Y. Interestingly, I’ve been able to tu

This made me think, why do we still have RJ45? Yeah of course it won’t disappear anytime soon, but couldn’t USB C replace it? Are there USB C switches (hubs) with say RJ45 input (from Internet) and USB C output ports for connecting local ma

This looks awesome! I’ve built similar CI logic using git and docker apis for an autograder system. Looks like I can throw out some of this code… and replace it with dagger.

I’m not making excuses for Tesla’s many misgivings, but they did honor the pre-order price for my model Y, even though new orders were more than 10% higher.

I’ve not seen overmindjs mentioned on hacker news. We use it in our React app and my students who wrote the code liked it a lot… maybe others have advanced enough by now to be on par with or better than overmindjs. https://overmi
