If you define the scope of what you're trying to accomplish narrowly enough then of course you can automate. This is what the nocode systems do and they give you a nice and easy to use UI. Automating all of software engineering is some

As someone who was involved in the Amiga scene I know how all this stuff works. Without that knowledge the site is very hard to use. It wouldn't be difficult to make an MP3 version of this site with an embedded player but I think the h

I'd expect a more meritocratic society would be a more equal society wealth wise. Looking at inequality in the UK vs USA - such as the share of personal wealth for the top 1% - seems to support the article: https://wid.world

Yep any time I install a new editor the first thing I do is switch it to Source Code Pro. Maybe a bit boring compared to those on Doug's list but I love it nonetheless.

I think it would be the amount of caffeine per cup. My guess is that a standard coffee cup would be 80-100mg. 600mg is a hell of a lot of caffeine - on rare days when I have 400 I feel very well used at the end of the day.

The market is very hot right now in Australia. Our government closed the borders so only Australians can apply. That combined with an unwillingness of staff to move roles means there's a big shortage. Salaries have shot up in the softw

Hospitals operate 24x7 but individual Nurses and Doctors don't. They work in shifts of course! A 4 day working week means a hospital would have to hire more doctors and nurses of course. It's a thought bubble though: in my country

I don't get the point of likes and dislikes on YouTube. In more than a decade of use, I have only in the last year or two used the like button and from my TV. Views matter - not likes.

Don't worry Google: our federal government is spineless and will surely find a way to water down the legislation without appearing to do so.
