Thanks. I suspect there may be no actual cases of YT actually banning videos for anti-veteran speech, but it is on their list because it is on a list of protected classes.

This is not directly related, but I saw the policy: "videos alleging that a group is superior in order to justify discrimination, segregation or exclusion based on qualities like age, gender, race, caste, religion, sexual orientation o

I've come to believe public sector unions in their current form just shouldn't exist, as they exacerbate these kinds of problems. It is the Union's job to protect members, and the only group who is by design trying to make th

The sadder part is that this is very close to a great many lawsuits go. This did not read to me to be much different than all civil lawsuits I have seen. Baseless claims followed by threats that it will cost more to defend than just settle.

Issac Arthur's podcast is the best resource on these matters. Amazing work, and makes this paper seem very week. He identifies many possible filters beyond the Drake equation. If you like this sort of discussion, you will almost certai

Yes defaults matter, and people will campaign heavily for the default settings, but perfect can't be the enemy of good and I can't see how this is worse. I think its not only possible but relatively easy to have user settings that
