I don't really care the content at all, but I really wish these platforms took the "phone company" approach, in which they considered themselves neutral carriers of information. In the US, I don't know an obvious issue b

I would love to see Intel get into contract manufacturing. We need more competition in that space and Intel's position no longer makes sense in the current environment.

We are hit as bad with the government lockdown, or at least in the ballpark. And bigger economy too, so it's more impactful overall.

One important point in this discussion is that workers only have to return at their own discretion. Since no worker is being forced to work, the argument is best thought of as whether or not workers who chooses to work should be allowed to

I have been wondering for a while what the legal mechanism for shutting down businesses in the US actually is. I'm not being snarky, I just literally don't understand the legal mechanism. Prior to this crisis I would not have thou

While I fully support basic income, I don't feel a survey is very insightful. I mean, we have to work with the tools we have got, but it's not like this was a blinded result. All survey participants would have been aware: 1) they

Duo is great, very underappreciated in the US. The video call quality in intermittent networks seems hands down the best for me (we use at work when slack or zoom have issues).

While pushing for safety is a good thing, ultimately essential workers are the same as non-essential workers, except with an option to work. This is except for anyone being forced to work (there are certainly a few categories here, like the

I thought this was great thank you. I disagree with some other commenters about log scale, I think you have a good set of graphs here that are good for people trying to understand progress on test vs disease in one or more state.

I continuously look for models that are 1) regularly updated with the latest data and improved forecasts (something like weekly) 2) provide estimates out 30-90 days or do. 3) provide that data at the US state level. Right now, the IMHE mod
