most likely what will happen is people will just leave CA, leaving a shortage and it will fail

seems like a "simpler" and more egalitarian solution would be to just encourage more females to be interested in science and technology from an early age in the first place. quota hiring is never a fair system to anyone.

as americans shouldn't we all want the same things regardless of race, ethnicity or any other form of "identity"? so in theory these things should not matter, should they?

wealth and value is created, not distributed. I'm sick and tired of hearing from communists about taking money away from hard working people and giving to those less deserving.

this is the main problem. if the tax rate gets too high, high earners will find creative ways to avoid taxes and/or be less motivated to work hard. either way it's a downward spiral.
