The trouble with technology, of any kind, but certainly here, isn't the technology itself, but humans trust in the technology. If doctors use ChatGPT as a sanity check of "can you think of anything i didn't?" and then ig

I'm curious what is meant by a "preview feature, or second preview feature, or..." in a released product?? I don't suppose they are going to remove it later. So in what way is it a preview? Are they signalling that it mi

yeah, you could invent a nefarious story about how this went, or a misinterpretation of the story, as well as a simple accounting of what Hawkings really thought. How you decide where to draw where the truth is, isn't particularly eas

if people don't want certain words associated with them, i'll do my best not to do that. I may not know, or i may fail, but i will attempt to do that which is asked of me. Because it's not a problem for me to try.

i really can't think of anything that is a problem for me with the current thunderbird. Works stably for me, makes enough sense as to how it works, and has whatever features i need. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

if git sees the document type as an opaque thing, like various MS types, git diff is not a pleasant thing. i'm surprised someone hasn't made a differ for them for git. (Maybe they have, just haven't seen it).

I agree. I see the conscious as part of the meat sack that acts as a witness, a journaller of what the rest of the meat sack does. I only say that because for many people, they believe that consciousness has some control over what you do an
