The iPhone 11 Pro was the first indication. Physically bigger, heavier, and with a larger battery than the outgoing model. I am very pleased to see them finally making a commitment to their "Pro" lines. A lot more could be done, a

I'm confused - is IQ a reliable way to measure intelligence between individuals, or is it a culturally biased measure that is scientifically bankrupt? I guess it depends on the context.

That ended abruptly. And on a bit of a grim tone. How many college students leave home and never return, not even once. Oh well, at least it wasn’t written in the New Yorker where it would have required a 10k word “slice of life” preamble b

I don't understand the obsession with sending civilization back to the stone age for the sake of "sustainability". I like hot showers. I would rather focus on new technology that makes producing fresh hot water in abundance n

Annoying for sure. But Not exactly a hard hitting question. “The location was selected because I believe it has the highest chance of success”. What can they say to that? Pick a location that you believe will fail.

A very salty take from this person. They also seem to have an issue with white people engaging in the civic process. Hard to take their criticisms seriously.

It’s not realistic that iPhones could have had the same screen size forever, but this kind of thing and many others like it show that sticking to 3.5/4 inch screens for so long was not necessarily misguided. Consistency counts. As well

This absolutely works on some sites. Home Depot is a legitimate example. If their app says there are 3 of something on the shelf there usually is exactly that many. If you buy it and check back in the app the inventory goes down immediately

I wish them the best of luck, but in my experience rebranding a seriously off track project is often the treatment of last resort. It’s the vancomycin of struggling projects.

Do many people speak to themself in the third person? It seems kind of odd in my opinion since we usually think of people that speak about themselves in the third person as being self absorbed, eccentric, or both. I do often take on the rol

Are you saying poor people and brown people don’t know how to get a state ID? That’s pretty ridiculous and in the latter case racist.

Great plan. Ban one of the few businesses willing to operate in these areas. Where I am from people lament the “food desert” that exists in certain parts of town, and ignore the complete glut of new establishments that pop up elsewhere. How

I think you miss the point. Having a smaller number of paying customers means you can build a more focused product and not cater to so many use cases. It also gives you a remedy when a customer feels wronged. In the case where they pay and

I agree. This is just another example of why freeware or free tier offerings can be a bad idea. Suddenly you have a large population users who will never convert yet are perfectly happy to suck up support hours.
