A tiny correction if I may, I think its "CreaTec", not "Created". I think they are refering to this one: https://www.createc.de/LT-STMAFM/

It may be due to some bad luck and selection bias, but I‘d recommend against physical HDD from WD, too. As far as I can remember, the only physical drives I owned that died where WD drives. Granted, they where WD Green, an especially curse

It may not solve any issue (e.g. separate history) but I wouldn’t want to use a browser without multi-account containers on my work laptop anymore. Separating internal O365 things form customer O365 things saves real time every day. No more

Assuming we cannot prove these parties knew the funds were stolen, wouldn’t you be punishing them for something they could not have known was illegal? We may assume that individuals in these parties knew that these donations were not entire

I think it’s also worth noting what makes a „bad programmer“. It’s not just people just being stupid or deciding to be that way. It’s, as you said, bad training, lack of motivation and stuff like this. People usually do not want to do a bad

yeah, I'd assume as much. If it indeed falls back to a by-value comparison it would be slower, but should work.

I think op meant "String literals". For those the spec seems to require interning: > Moreover, a string literal always refers to the same instance of class String. This is because string literals - or, more generally, strings t

Great project, congrats! Mad respect. Started working on something very similar a few years back and gave up pretty soon for some stupid reason. Maybe I should try again, am getting better at getting stuff done.

For me, its not just time, but also motivation. I cannot count how many site projects died in the early days, just because I came up with this impossible perfect thing it should be, having all the things. Then implementing it becoumes a cho

I am no expert on any of this but was curious. So I entered some guesstimates in online calculators. Assuming they were at 12,500 ft / 3810m we get a pressure down there of 5546 PSI / 382 Bar. Compressing the air in the cabin fro

Oh, I have nothing agains paying for the app. I just find it funny that they let me install and configure everything then wont play anything. At first I thought its just needing that for 4k/HDR/HVEC stuff, but it also did not play

Yeah. Just found out that it doesn’t even play anything from my jellyfin without buying the premium version. It lists all the things, but as soon as I want to play anything it asks for the InApp Purchase. Not sure what’s going on there, but

Someone else in the comments here suggested the „Infuse“ app on iOS. It can use multiple backends including jellyfin, plex, but also sftp etc. Cannot speak for its daily use as I just installed it myself, but looks good on the first glance

Reading intel ark, it seem to me that the AX210 is a fully fledged device that can be used with every SoC [0] while the AX201 relies on CNVi [1]. So both can be true at the same time: your AX210 works fine with the i7-2600, while the AX201

Sure there are manufacturers with higher resolution displays out there, but there is even more that still just run 1080p on these. Its not easy finding an AMD device with more than 1080p or maybe 1920x1200 even today, even on larger screen

I guess the wording threw me of. For me, the „model“ references just the geometry. Which is what the post states is smaller (=less triangles). But if you include all the assets for the coin in that, yes it’s not simpler/smaller.

Well, yes it shifts the details away from the actual poly model and into other assets, but this is what you want a lot of the time. The poly count factors in a lot of steps that do not care about normal maps or stuff like that. Depth pass,

I assume one of the biggest problems is, that both eyes see the exact same image while in a „real 3D environment“ both eyes would see slightly different views of the world where the brain then reconstructs the depth out of it. Here we have

The chart cites Wikipedia as the source. Maybe it’s just that earthquake after ~2000 tend to have a significant higher chance to be logged on Wikipedia compared to before? Wikipedia launched around 2001, so it would fit in that timeframe.

I dont think the spoon handle is actually supposed to touch the liquid. That would be hard to achive in a classic bottle of champagne, even if its full, I guess. Teaspoon handles are not that long.

I guess thats a joke. Adding a single extra bit would usually be more complex then going to 64bit or going to 32bit unsigned. Well, I say that, but actually, "adding an extra bit" is basically what going from signed to unsigned wo

To be hones, promotional offers are a thing and a real problem in the market. It’s usually considered (at least under my peers) that changing your energy supplier often is worth it to collect all the „new customer bonus“ offers. But it’s no
