I don’t think that’s accurate - I remember being in Delhi circa 2010 and dinners at the nice hotels coming to something close to this amount, albeit with (not outrageous) wine. I actually went and pulled up the menu for one of the restauran

I will say that there are verticals where "x for y" group do very well - media and content and dating apps come to mind as one. It seems to work better where there's an aspect of cultural or group identity that comes along w

Or, when a woman gets a flu shot and then has a miscarriage, she doesn’t assume it was because of the flu shot, because she’s had a flu shot many times before. It seems like you’re being deliberately obtuse here.

With regards to the VAERS data, it’s simply a matter of numbers. 140m people vaccinated, almost all of them older than 18, and all of them in a short time period. A disproportionate percentage of whom are elderly, by the way. Some of the

I think you can read the statement through a charitable or uncharitable lens - the uncharitable way is "throw 30 engineers at a problem and it'll get faster" However, in the context of the other comments the GP made, I interp

Oh, sure, I think the problems in these kinds of discussions is that each reader has their own mental picture of the type of content that is being described, which colors the discussion. I think the wuhan lab leak hypothesis is a good exam

I'm not 100% sure I understand your point, but I take it to mean that you're saying that Facebook's role is just an excuse to ban content I (or some groups) don't like? If there was a true marketplace of ideas, everyone

I don't think most people have issues with non-mainstream positions or interest groups, or at least to the degree of their being banned. What's at stake here is Facebook's role in amplifying content that is at best misleadin
