The license shown there isn't an open source license. Apple has a public source license of their own and often uses other licenses too.

All browsers on iOS must use WebKit which is the rendering engine from Safari. If you wanted to make an app for your own usage you might be able to do something with a $99 developer account and keep the app for your own private usage.

Yeah, looking on Safari myself I can see the images are pretty blurry. https://cdn-dynmedia-1.microsoft.com/is/image/microsoftcorp/... I guess their CDN is doing some heavy crunching of the images to keep pag

The data to download a menu is more than the meal. Is free wifi common in Europe? I remember it being quite hard to find a hotspot. Same in the UK.. UK had those “the cloud” things in places.

Bluesky is growing and scaling itself quite nicely. Around 3 million users now, I think. A lot of non-tech folk are using it and the small team is doing seemingly weekly updates.

What less service are you getting? You’re ordering from the same person, you’re just choosing your food from a PDF/nightmare website vs a paper menu.

You aren’t picking up your food from the kitchen and fetching your own drinks, so yes there’s an implied or explicit service charge.

In theory a digital menu should be better for accessibility but I’ve found they’re either a link to a PDF (which offers some ability to zoom in) or they’re a hideous nightmare website with no easy way to increase font sizes due to them bein

I'm curious if a native editor like Panic's Nova or BBEdit would work better than a Java or Electron app?

I have so many Bluesky invites, I think most people do. If anyone I know needs one, I have one for them. They sign up and they will immediately have people they know to follow. I stopped giving them away to random people.

I dread receiving anything by FedEx. UPS is fine. I would frequently just get stuff not delivered by FedEx and then be expected to go to a warehouse to pick it up, which via public transportation is a two/three hour round trip.
