“Michel Houellebecq”. I haven’t heard that name in a long time. Are you French? About 23 years ago I was discussing one of his books in an web forum for a French lit class I took. The professor knew him and Michel participated in the discus

Particle seems to offer more options and products other than just cellular. But if just looking at the cellular options, my understanding is that both offer an inexpensive, one time fee dev board/module solution for IoT with data.

I’m curious how the hardware labs would be done. Do you purchase all the gear for your own home electronics lab?

I like to monetize my hobby. I make fancy work clocks and sell some occasionally. I don’t feel pressured to sell since I like the hobby. But I also like to sell one now and again. Plus it’s a big ego booster.

I agree with many of your points. One not though, in the state where I live, we have awful drivers (I think) and covid deaths in 2020 were ~100x average yearly motor vehicle deaths.

Yeah I had a similar experience with a secondary infection 11 days after a lion fish sting. I went to my primary care DR as a “sick visit”. After evaluation he said to go to the ER. Since I needed treatment sooner than a schedule procedure

This works great for me in NE USA. We have two large filters. Usually keep one upstairs and one downstairs. They make a noticeable difference. But they were about $250 each.

Scuba diving. When you’re underwater, you have to leave all thoughts about the surface at the surface. Logging off is important any way you do it.

How high do you want? I’ve been sketching out an idea for a monitor stand that could be adapted for this. Would be made from plywood, press fit together and flat packable.

If I could only afford one, I would recommend the o-scope. Most firmware runs on bespoke hardware and the programmer can’t assume the hardware is abstracted away from the software. MANY bugs I’ve tracked down required electronics probing.

I live in RI. State funding of this was (in my and many people’s opinions) an awful decision. RI has a long history of making bad economic decisions that are or at least appear to be corrupt. I can’t speak to the quality/promise of the

Nice idea! I’ve been making low poly images manually for vinyl cutter projects with the kids. I might try the same!

Compared to what? That’s shorter than many voting lines in last US election. Shorter than waiting for an unscheduled bus in many countries. I agree it’s longer than I’d like but it’s all perspective.

Mine does not. I think you would need to step up a level from the MH series with US Cutter. I seem to recollect that was about $100-$150 more for that capability. But check their website.
