The fees come from the bank and are the same on stripe so, that part is just how the game works. I see the 'not fighting disputes' from both sides; as a vendor it sucks, but for paddle fighting them is a loose loose game, it would

What are your issues with paddle? I found them perfectly fine fwiw. Why is this related to thresholds if you're using a merchant of record? You can't do this on country codes, if you're going to do this I would suggest whitel

There are people like paddle who handle all this for you, but it's not free. Before I've just decided to restrict purchases to jurisdictions I can easily handle which isn't great but..

For what it's worth we have to stand up a UK infrastructure for UK customers and EU for EU customers, it really sucks.

That's a shame. There are many UK cloud providers, who would work - what do you need, I'd be happy to make suggestions?

The modern computer was invented in Britain, we have ARM, designers of the most popular chip architecture in the world and make things like Raspberry Pi. We've got the ability but not the ambition. The attitude of "we'll desi

Canada and the US are very different places, I'm fairly astonished to hear that to be honest. Canada may as well be British, except Quebec who are somehow more french than the french themselves.

To the extent it's similar to any other culture I agree, the closest feels like brazil (to me) - but it's also very distinct, it's very much it's own thing in a way that few other cultures are (I would probably count the

I find mojeek.com better than either of those, but slightly worse than google and on par-ish with bing (bing has further "reach", but worse quality).

ARM China is a sales office. Not the same thing at all. If a design is made in a British office of a British company, 'by hook or by crook' the state can gain access to it. That's the hard, perhaps slightly uncomfortable trut

Because almost all software runs on arm today, almost none (comparatively) runs on risc-v. Or perhaps because ARM is miles ahead of risc-v today.

So what? What's the scenario here? The USA pressures Japan to stop selling licences to European Fabs? Why, what would push them to such extremes? Fabs can still produce those current designs (they just don't have licences). Now Eu

Not really like for like. The pricing isn't as insane as you'd think, 96 to 256GB is 1500 which isn't 'cheap' but, it could be worse. All in 5,500 gets you a ultra with 256GB memory, 28 cores, 60 GPU cores, 10Gb net
