Fun little time waster. I like the concept and implementation (although it's a bit easy as others have said). My only suggestion is to provide a login method besides Twitter. OpenID would be great.

Ah, good point. I just checked the WHOIS and stopped there. Still, http://yellowbird3d.com or anything else possibly reachable outside of links or copy/pasting would be nice (though I guess telling people "google yellowbird" works).

Same here. I own a TV but I don't get TV (I voted yes anyways). My TV is used a screen for my media center computer (mostly for music and movies) and video games.

A good practice I use is to give users a "trial period" (usually 24 hours) before they must verify. Users can sign up for the site and immediately start using it, then next time they check their email just click the link. Many people will c

I actually thought the story hinted at the opposite: that individual programmers who from the outside may look like slackers can produce good, simple code and that process isn't everything.
