This sort of childish generalizations help nobody, other than yourself (and virtue signaling)

Seems like an improvement - nobody argues that a career as "bleacher actor #847" is something to aspire to. It's something we should AI away.

A redesign every 4 years just proves that Mozilla has no idea what to spend their money or resources on. A phenomenal waste of time.

They certainly have in the past. There are core issues with how Android deals with phone apps and prioritization. Quite a few threads on here about previous 911 issues.

Android is such a mess - this should have criminal penalties. Anyone working in the Android SDK knows how poorly designed it is.

Wow that top progress bar is annoying and useless. Very distracting. We already have a progress bar (the scroll bar) why do web designers insist on this stuff?

Yeah, agreed. It's a shame - we have not spent the resources to build more of the stuff people want, so it keeps getting more expensive.

Spending my 20s in city, where I could walk to a bar/friend's house/restaurant/ball game, was a wonderful experience. When I talk to young people who live in some generic suburb I can't help but feel depressed. And

It's odd how much press these devices get, given how poorly they sell.

Which is all completely untrue. Police in America are very untrained compared to other countries. The standards to be a cop are too low. This is just a bunch of middle class "defund" people with little else going on.

Simply inaccurate. Apartments and houses are opening up all the time. That % is meaningless. Some amount of vacancy is necessary.

Android phones need replaced much more often than iPhones, due to how slow they get and lack of updates. There is a reason the resale value of iPhones is 2-5x any Android phone.

Completely false. Look to Tokyo to see proof that supply works. No city in Canada or the US is building enough. Not even close. The hand waving of "well supply must not work because it's not working right now" (meanwhile prod

Low-end iPhones outperform and outlast high-end Android phones. Nobody keeps an Android longer than 3 years because it slows down and doesn't get updates. Not the case for iPhone.

The back swipe on iOS is per-app, not a global function. I should have clarified. It is different, and a better implementation.

... there is a back swipe gesture. And it works much more consistently than Android's "Where the heck is this gonna take me" back button. Every app you can swipe back, and it's a much nicer animation than Android. The ba

Years and years of terrible decisions from Google (15 messaging apps, Android SDK glitches that still exist from 2010, copying Apple's features instead of leading) will only continue to let Apple dominate. There's simply no reason

Simply incorrect. The market doesn't want that, you don't want. You, and most others, want a $99 drill. A $99 drill doesn't support your fantasy wages.

There's 0 evidence of "greedlation". It takes only a minute to think why all these companies decided to collude and raise prices now and why not 5 years ago. Ten? Why now? Makes no sense. If they can do it now they would have

Android's continued decline in the USA won't be fixed by these "me too" developments (that are often of worse quality that Apple's offerings). There seems to be no leadership at Android at all.

I blame most of this on the rise of suburbs. There are so few places for children to hang out. Car-centric infrastructure that forces kids to sit inside results in this. Bad for adults too.

Well then I guess the other side operates on social media/etc and pushes ideas like we should give up our public spaces to homeless encampments and police aren't necessary. Or things like rent control, all of which do not work, ev

The assumption that people oppose these socialist ideas because of branding and not because of the empirical evidence that they don't work is an humble take.
