Historically chat companies have had difficulties monetizing chat. Snapchat isn't a traditional messaging app though. There's something about graphics and photos being good for ads. I still reserve judgement on whether or not snap

The 5% churn = 79% annual churn is incorrect. Churn doesn't compound, because after churn your user base is smaller and 5% of that becomes a smaller number. It is actually 0.95^12=0.54 (5% churn/month = 46% annual churn).

This infographic is pretty poorly designed. There are some icons that I don't recognize (like the 1993 circle+R and the 2005 flask). Google told me the (R) icon is actually the R language. Still don't know what the flask is.

Additionally, my impression is that "trust" vehicles like contracts don't hold the same weight that they do in places like the US. They get broken and tossed aside all the time and the legal recourse you can have is minimal.
