why would you even want something with no screen? I find there are many generic, chinese sansaclip clones out there. All of them use virtually identical software, and they really do quite a good job. Bluetooth, mp3/mp4, colour screens

I have an idea: remove the art of web crawling from the domain of a single company and instead create a international group of interested parties to run it instead. I'm thinking broadly along the lines of the Bluetooth SIG. Maybe it w

I don't like it that there are systems on equipment that i buy that i'm not "allowed to" access. Worse yet are those i'm not "allowed to" know about. I take such tactics as a personal snub from the manufac

Now we know that we can do two things. "Cancel" them, which i'm afraid is the more likely of the two. Or we can spread awareness about them and constructively counter their claims. Shutting them down isn't healthy IMHO,

Not that i'm aware. Many shops i need are in large, industrial areas, far away by foot. And 20 minute walks everywhere simply eats up my day. I hate using the buses, driving is far, far easier and faster.

i commented about this subject yesterday, i don't think it's a bad idea, but i personally can't imagine living without a car. It wasn't a popular opinion but i still stand by it. Maybe i'm just afraid of change, but

It's not just lazy reporting. It implies a " trust us" attitude, which makes me sad. I want the purest form of truth i can possibly get. If some people are happy to let the BBC [edit: or most news outlets] filter their news

Neither your comment, or the other 2 have any bearing on the reality in which i live and that i know many others also live. The cities we live in are hundreds, if not thousands of years old. The idea of that a 15 minute city has any bearing

No such a thing as "have to". To walk everywhere you need to would take hours in a day it's impractical.

let me rephrase; science has limited itself to understanding the laws of Nature. It can never tell us how the world -and thus life- came to be. I admit your argument was a good one. But not the anti religious points. Essentially atheists ha

Buy one for 15k. It will still be better and i doubt the difference will come to more than "total cost of ownership". of course it's a bigger car so more expensive to run. so buy a 5yo focus and get the best of both worlds.

Same with cars. I fail to understand why anyone would spend 20k on a brand new Focus, for example, when for the same money you can get a 5 year old Mercedes c (also an example)
