I'd wait until Beta 2 at the very earliest. Lots of new bugs are going to surface over the next few days.

This seems like the most likely case. Who's really taking the time to move their production repos to GitLab over the weekend based on a Friday rumor?

Agreed. I see MSFT keeping GitHub as a "simple" choice for repo hosting. VSTS is awesome, and quite feature-packed. Maybe Microsoft will use GitHub specifically for repo hosting, while offering VSTS as an CI/CD/ALM pla

UW-P is a public university in Wisconsin. And you're right: the chair of the department when I was there was a huge proponent of COBOL. I know classmates who went on to do quite well working with COBOL in finance industries. I'd n

Seconded. Many hours in college that I should've spent studying were spent "stumbling". Digg came along, and later Reddit and HN and I spent a lot less time using StumbleUpon, but it was AWESOME for its time.

I forgot all about Netvibes.com! I remember setting up a personal dashboard with my emails, news, Digg, etc way back in ~2006. It may very well have been my first foray into RSS, now that I think about it...

Same here. When I started my undergrad degree in 2006, my university had just built the first new residence hall in 20+ years. Since since I left in 2010, they've added two new academic buildings and two more 4+ story residence halls.

Wow. I first came across Microsoft Chat in the late 1990s, at age 11 or 12. To this day it seemed ahead of its time... avatars with multiple options of facial expressions, comic book layout. I miss it.

I don't. I've got the rest of my life to tackle some tasks on my list. I have deadlines and personal priorities, which naturally float to the top of those lists, but until I decide that I'll never do one of them, I just let

I use the email-to-board feature of Trello and just include the address as a BCC when replying to clients, or just forward it if I'm not replying. Everything goes into the "Incoming" column which I can then prioritize. Works
