Thanks for the feedback, phlux. I'll try some variations with the colors. The content is from myself, my wife, and several friends. We have a couple of dozen users atm. Hope you check back and see how things progress.

Ha. My wife would kill me if I was working on yet another thing. :) But if your looking for feedback, I'd be happy to share some. Email in my about.

This is nice. I think crowd-sourced analysis is a massive resource that has not been investigated nearly enough. I would love to browse feedback on PubMed papers, as it could really save time. Perhaps by incorporating a Methods Exchange of

I deleted my account a couple of months ago. After a few years, I got nothing out of it. My gmail serves as a better contact list. My day job is research, and linkedin doesn't serve our type of networking very well. It's more business-orien

I think this is close to the truth. Even from the outside Reddit seems a tangle of functionality. My guess is that there are leaks that have lingered for quite some time. It is a fantastic site, but I have the feeling that leaving it has be

I absolutely agree. However, to be honest, I didn't realize it until I read your comment. Maybe it's because I am still working on my morning coffee, but I read the TC post, thought "bummer for Digg", and moved on. This is what makes a site

This I could get into. I've never had a FB account, but if I can really maintain walls between spheres of contacts, I will be giving circles a try. Gmail integration wouldn't hurt either.

That definitely is an upside. However, although the trolling an profanity may have been reduced, it's possible that people don't express controversial opinions they might have, as they are now linked to their facebook network. -That's part

You're probably right, but even so, I have the feeling that there are quite a few people that use FB because they feel obligated to do so.

No, I'd say it's like a very fast and free bicycle copy machine. No one loses their bike, but it might upset bicycle-makers.

And you're assuming my ideas are amazing. ;) Point taken. But, I like to give one thing my full attention, so that goes into the decision too.

I now share my ideas openly. If I am not doing it at the moment, someone else is. If I am doing it, well, I want people to know about it.

I think this is an excellent question. What is brute force anyway, but a perspective of scale? Take any complex system, break it down enough, and it starts to look like brute force.

I know where we have one of these in Michigan. It's awful. You need to make it, or you are in for quite a detour.

I have to disagree. Some very intelligent people struggle with writing. I can understand skipping a comment over poor grammar. But if you are going to vote, I think you ought to consider the content over the form.

I really hope Anon keeps a happy attitude. I don't want to see the governments getting stupid on everyone because they feel the must do something about things they really have no control over. What I mean is this: Anon or others with simila

Here's an interesting comparison: Google: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=active&q=Fan... Bing: http://www.bing.com/search?q=Fantasia&go=&form=QBRE&... Yahoo: http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=Agt64BoFz7.2ArgJ

Bing also shows the answer, however: http://www.bing.com/search?q=circumference+of+the+earth&... Perhaps Google does this better, but I would be surprised if it accounted for the large difference.

This is a very compelling idea. It makes me glad I am not on FB, but it is interesting. You might have some angry folk asking for content to be removed, however. BTW, not sure you can trademark trollface :)

I think we put far too much human bias on what 'intelligence' means. I don't suspect that we will have 'Data' of Star Trek', or a rise of the machines. My guess is that something wholly unexpected will result. A different consciousness will
