Yeah, that's what you need on a desktop. A OS designed for "touch" with "innovative features" (which features were standard on a desktop 25 years ago). The UI looks like a uglier clone of ChromeOS.

That app is not a actual tile manager. Setting the window position is different from actual "tile management". Anyway for Windows a similar app is WinSplit Revolution.

And Apple is perhaps the only US company which can afford to reverse the trend. They can afford to "sacrifice" a few billion dollars for this. But they won't do it. Their investors want to get richer not help USA. Underage c

You definetly work in PR. You have the quality of taking something trivial and describing it as if it is a big deal.

Yeap, i'm using LessCSS for this. 1 less file for each "component" (classes are prefixed with component name to prevent collision). At build all less files are compiles into 1 big css file

I really wished C# would support Nullable for reference types too. This + the new traversal operator (?. ) would be a great combo to get rid of NullReferenceExceptions. To me Optional<T> without pattern matching seems crap.

Aaaa....why not use IMAP/POP3 ? If the server administrator only allows that dumb proprietary protocol, you can't really blame Microsoft there.

Yes, you're right. It's better to blindly do assignments and use code contracts to check the state after. Much cleaner. </sarcasm>

"The technique C# traditionally uses to deal with illegal states is called design by contract" That's not really true. Code contracts are just a library , it's certainly not "traditional" in C# to use that to c

Later edit. It's iOS for fuck sake. It's ridiculous to compare iOS with full Windows. A keyboard is not that useful in a TOUCH based OS.

Databinding (and MVVM by extension) is ok only in very simple scenarios. Once you hit some complexity you end up in a world of hurt. Databinding is not a leaky abstraction ,it's a fucking flood abstraction.
