I noticed that firefox (dev edition) got rid of possibility to disable update notifications. I prefer my browser to be updated from repository rather than by itself. Did anyone has the same issue or found some workaround?

I think that is not always true and stepping back could be a benefit sometimes. There were moments when I had to get back to my code and I realized that it could be done in a better/more simple way. Distractions force me to write code

Goal of science is to predict as many phenomena with least amount of assumptions. And minimizing assumptions usually makes a theory more beautiful. But it is only my opinion and it is very subjective :).

Once I did some science. And the reason for my bad quality code is (or I hope that it was) that I used to: 1. write the code 2. get some result 3. forget it. throw it away And I have never felt any pain for maintaining that code. Until I s
