This reads like a call to manage one's self in the same manner that we were managed before we quit our shitty job to do our own thing. I don't care how much I was making before. And I don't need to code as if there were a gun to my head. I'

Sinatra seems like a natural choice to write a simple web service API for an iOS app. Anyone know where I find a deeper resource that might assist "Sinatra for iOS" development?

I used Final Cut pro while creating a daily video documentary for Kanye West and Jay-Z's Watch the Throne tour and I can honestly say that it was the best tool for the job, largely because of the new background rendering capabilities. There

They were one of the first to do a full-screen implementation in HTML5. Lovely UI as well. I'm glad to see them moving towards a freemium model. But now there are lots of completely open source HTML5 players that do fullscreen, without the

This is the first time I've come across the use of code as a meaningful narrative element in a work of fiction. It's not exactly Nabokov, but this is a pretty wonderful story. RIP, John.

I know a lot of grizzled video Final Cut users who are very nervous about the "iMoviefication" of the UI. But after reading these reviews I'm feeling optimistic about Apple's ability to deliver a simplified interface without sacrificing pow

I read the post, I just wanted to publicly appreciate the (frankly, creative) way that the blog was being hosted. Sometimes it feels like the Hacker News community wants to "place restrictions" on expressions of humor.
