Lone employee, meet bus. Talk about a failure to take responsibility. Maybe it's the CEO's error to allow a single employee to oversee a catastrophic security breach.

Would be interesting to see that broken down by first vs. second or later. I imagine there are a lot of married couples with 1 or 2 kids that have an unplanned pregnancy, but that's not quite the same as a teenage couple.

Toys 'R' Us might have been a great store when we (I) were kids, but I went there a few months back--what a wasteland. Barbie, GI Joe, and movie tie-in action figures as far as the I can see. Good riddance. People can buy crappy A

FWIW "professional" environments can be pretty boring, though they're also less likely to have death marches and social problems. It really depends on your analysis. Did they seem friendly and interested in including you in t

Strategically, I wonder Google/FB/etc. would do better to pay more taxes. The recent GDPR is a total disaster for them. Maybe it could have been avoided if they paid more taxes, and were on friendlier terms with the EU.

Also, while its hard to measure objectively, I would expect quality to be higher, because of the incentives. There is a higher pay off to a hit show because it can attract subscribers directly to your stream. In the old model, there is a la

There is an interesting discussion between Hal Finney and Satoshi in 2009 about the possible value of bitcoin. This is back when it was just a random software project, and had zero value: http://diswww.mit.edu/bloom-picayune
