How has Microsoft "already started [to] drive Skype into the ground"?

Great news about their IPO in 86. But it was _registered_ in 91. Vote me down for stating a fact. Maybe I'll bash a multi billion dollar company we all hate because we like to "think different" and then I'll get voted up.

These domains are older than Microsoft.com. SCO.com was registered in 1987 while Microsoft.com wasn't registered until 91.

Looks cool, but it doesn't work at all on an iPad. Just something to keep in mind if you use this as an integral part of your UI.

I updated my comment. I wouldn't approach it from the idea of a php parser. Also, don't assume that its a couple of "shitty themes". I hate to tell you this, but wordpress wouldn't be where it it today without these "shitty themes". Wri

Seems neat and I'd love to give it a try. I'm not a blog engine expert by any means, but it seems to be the the killer feature missing from this and other "this is not wordpress" blog engines is the ability to accept/read wordpress themes.

Live it. Posting from the app now in fact. Only suggestion so far is to include rotation support. Sort of a pain being portrait only, many people like landscape mode.

As soon as possible. Waiting and iterating before the project sees the light of day is not helpful for a small project. It's only a good tactic for large companies. If your project works, ship the beta, even if there are changes you want to

Pretty sure he said that with his wife, household expenses are twice that. Rent is more like 1530. Which is still create for a house in SF.

FYI: us-east-1a for you might be us-east-1c for me. The labels of the AZ doesn't mean anything outside of your account.

It's not very insightful to realize that Apple has design while Google has search. This is obvious. Design won't become ubiquitous. Where else has this happened in the world? Design is hard. Great design is incredibly difficult to achie

Why would we want to 302 redirect instead of 301 on missing www or mistyped domain names? I'm pretty sure a 301 redirect would be better.

MySpace wasn't always .NET. It was ColdFusion before .NET v2 came out. Not that ColdFusion would have made any difference. That said, I'd argue that no, Microsoft did not kill MySpace. Generalizations like this are wrong. There are many

Rarely a good answer. All of that complexity wasn't added for fun. Making a comment like this really shows ignorance in software development. While we all want to scrap and rewrite some projects, most of us know that it isn't as easy as it

That's a really good point. Doing this will invalidate browser cache on most sites whenever you do a deployment. If you are the type that does production deployments throughout the day, then this could slow down the user experience. Howe

Yikes. I agree but this looks like a workflow that would get in my way, not help me code. Open tab, wait 15 seconds while it launches. It just reminds me how much I despise java applets in web pages.

The Erlang syntax isn't that bad. Don't be intimidated by it. You mention the line ending punctuation as a specific cause of concern which is difficult to learn. Let me try to help: To start, a comma goes at the end of a normal line of c

I hate that people use Q&A sites as forums. If I ask a question on StackOverflow.com such as "how do i do x on the iphone", I'm pretty much guaranteed to get responses (in the "answers" section) which state that i shouldn't do that. Q
