Blank Spaces isn't in Santa Monica. It's more like Miracle Mile on Wilshire. Unless there is another location which I'm not familiar with?

When are we going to stop referring to the developer of apps like "Ant Smasher" as game developers? If I spend the time and resources to develop a real game, something that gamers will come back to after a few days, I'm not going to rely o

I just installed it and my initial impression is that a lot of work went into this new UI, and it's not bad. I think it could use a few changes, but I'm not complaining. Personally, I don't like how big all of the windows are, the fact th

The travel logistics for running in daily organized marathons would be too much. If he were putting daily flights/travel to the next city where there was a scheduled marathon, it would probably be impossible. That said, still very impressi

In defense of other platforms, apps can't read your text messages, email, etc. Sure, there are ways to do it using private APIs, etc, but if you get caught, you get removed. Android is wide open, and knowing that it's trivial for someone

Nope. That's not how OAuth works. If you are getting the users password, you did it wrong. Let Netflix handle the authentication and access control.

If you are providing hosting also, have failed to collect and are writing the debt off, I think it would be MUCH better to disable DNS or the host or something like that, rather than put up a public page like this. I'm a developer, not a l

MG Siegler over at TechCrunch did. He just published his review, which was pretty much the same as John's. But Gizmodo... ha. That'll be the day!

I like it, and it's certainly about time. What's going to happen to AppBrain, etc now? They were definitely filling a niche and now will be forced to compete with the source.

Couldn't agree more. And now that I can see how my competitor app ranks right next to mine, pure awesome.

One of the things Amazon is doing differently is offering complete control of the email headers. I've recently been evaluating some services and many don't offer this. I don't want to send marketing emails, unfortunately I have a service pr

Awesome. I see yummy.com vans all around Santa Monica, but would love for a big player like Amazon to come in and validate this space. The article lists $2.50 for a single grapefruit as an indicator that the pricing will be high. I'd lov

I don't agree with this at all. If there's any preferential treatment that I've seen in the review line, it has everything to do with which category the app is in and how popular the app is. I've self rejected an app that was in the top 20
