You have a good point. That said selling merch or auctioning vintage equipment doesn't feel the same as what is happening here. If they just stored it somewhere and auctioned it few years later, it would send a completely different mes

But this buffer cache usage is caused by readers/clients checking logs for some reason, not logging itself, right? I see no significant difference compared to syslog here: if I grep all logs for something, it will also place these logs

Right, but when it comes to their branding stuff, I would expect the company to either store it (if they have enough space somewhere) or move it straight to trash. Selling their corporate logos for 25 USD looks like they are being liquidate

I don't have a negative experience with journald file format. That said, the format is documented here: https://systemd.io/JOURNAL_FILE_FORMAT/ On the other hand I agree that journald seems to call open syscall mo

This split between service file (what is going to happen exactly) and a timer file (when it's going to happen) is ok for complex use cases, but it really feels a bit silly when a single cron line would do the trick instead.

One way would be to run such tool before posting and then based on the results, tweak the post and repeat until the similarities are not statistically significant. Or instead of tweaking, start posting under a new throwaway account. But thi

Indeed, this is not a new idea. The news here is about particular implementation for extracting passwords from QWERTY keyboards. That said, this is not a big problem for ATM pin pads with metal keys , because these conduct heat well and so

Long time ago, I used gPodder to download audio files with podcasts and then synced them to a mp3 player or mobile phone. Nowadays I'm using gPodder on a phone with Sailfish OS: https://openrepos.net/content/keeper

There are 2 ways to specify requirements in a python project as well. Manually constructed list of dependencies in setup.py, and requirements.txt generated via `pip freeze` (with some possible tweaks on top of that if necessary). See also
