I went to an audiologist a few years back because I could hear certain things that would drive me up the wall. I thought it might be tinnitus or something like that- I ride motorcycles, am on the water in boats, use power tools, etc. Turns

That's pretty much where I've been on them for the last few years. I've got a bunch of old inherited Craftsman stuff that's just as good or smooth as expensive stuff is brand new today. If I'm not investing in somet

I have the UAP-AC-PRO and an Edge Router Lite and couldn't be happier. I tried way more expensive consumer routers (Nighthawk), using a pair of TP-Link Archer C7s (with one in AP mode), extenders, freaking everything. They all had prob

I have seen people use it in some amazingly Rube Goldbergian ways for great success. It's a real credit to the project and the ecosystem. Easy enough to 'just get the thing done', but as complex as you want it to be.

Anker was probably a bad example because they seem to do a pretty good job and seemingly don't allow commingling of their product. This discussion does highlight the issue though, we all had to go check, and check a number of different

It's gotten bad enough that there are entire product categories I completely avoid on Amazon due to the likelihood of counterfeit. If I'm looking for a specific brand of electronics (say, Anker or Apple) I'll buy it off Neweg

It's funny- I grew up in Portland with my dad working for Sequent (they built some pretty cool servers back in the day). We had stacks of various Cadence CDs sitting around in the home office growing up. Mentor Graphics has a huge pres

It's not a tactic. It's, in fact how a LOT of companies do it. As the guy in charge of doling out my pool of raise money it has absolutely been a zero sum game everywhere I've done it. If our across the board raise rate is 3%
