I'm not exactly sure why it's so expensive, but it's not like you will need it. The whole point of Nitrous.io is that it's a cloud ide. Unless you are deploying a huge app (and if you're deploying a huge app, you

What are you expecting in terms of compensation? Remember, most of the time these organizations are operating on sparse budgets. It would need a lot of actionable discoveries for an organization to see the benefit of having one on staff.

I'm sorry, but can you elaborate? It kind of went over my head, and I would love to learn something new. What do you mean by the number theory/no accident comment?

I liked your breakdown. I think without linear algebra, it's not very intuitive that it's simply a rotation, and the power series itself is quite interesting. So to most people, without a high level of mathematics to discern each componen

I'll throw in my experience. I went to PennApps Jan 2013 after I learned some HTML, CSS, and javascript with some new friends I made. While we didn't associate with Michigan Hackers, we saw the rise of the facebook group, and their "recru

I didn't get the same feeling as you. I received it with quite a bit of warmth, with a little bit of wistfulness? Try picturing Gandalf saying the words. What did you do for volunteering? I'm sure each type has their pros and cons. For

Heh, about as expected. I can get to the final interview no problem, but I always fail when they ask the "basic" technical questions, such as "How does a garbage collector work?" and "How would you populate a binary tree?". My one formal

I'm so happy to see this - it's a sign of progress of the education system, and it gives me so much relief to see that someone gets it at the top of the education totem pole. I discussed this with a master's degree student a few years ag

Yes, actually less than 30k a year. My budget won't allow for anything more. In a rare case, a higher revenue business may be of interest. Please email me if you have anything.

I don't quite follow your reasoning of why the law is wrong. You say yourself "Te is assumed constant", yet you imagine that converting the Te from a constant to a variable could affect the result. However, if you change Te from a constan

I would convert from a B2C to a B2B company. Focus on partnering with existing medical school on a subscription basis to supplement their textbook. Easily charge $10 / student / year. While in the end, the same student is being helped, t

This only works when people are separate enough so they have an individual silhouette. If doing length of line tracking however, it becomes much more tedious, with edge detection necessary and such. Also, if using a 360 camera, this becom
