Another big factor to consider is how obsolete satellites are de-commissioned. Can they be made to re-enter the atmosphere when no longer needed, or is a permanent piece of debris at that point?

I actually did look it up before I posted. As you say, there is an SC connector (green, so I assume single mode angle polish, which makes sense for long distance connection) under the panel above the power.

Windows Server with the Desktop Experience enabled (plus a few other tweaks: https://www.windowsworkstation.com/win2016-2019/ ) is much better than Windows 10/11 IMO. Way less bullshit that way
