I've been long user of JetBrains' products - and love them. I even use ReSharper in Visual Studio (which I still consider better IDE, but for Linux / Mac - JetBrains is my choice, and heck, sometimes even Rider/CLion

I think at some point, but could be misremembering, IncrediBuild did local preprocessing, and then all you need on the other end is compiler. It might be still an option if pre-processing (for your own codebase) is insignificant vs compilat

Giving a comparison - e.g. evaluation - is a work paid hours. Also no one probably in their mind is ever going to do such an evaluation, or if it's done, it'll be one where you had to scratch one solution because of some limiting

Haven't tried it, but you can always `cc_import` a locally installed library and expose it - though not sure how this works across the wire... Then again, this might be all asking for trouble - what if your colleague has different inst

These do not seem to be pure "header-only", but involve #include-ing the same file at least once with "#define C2_xxx_IMPLEMENTATION 1" That's fine though. AFAIK, there is no sane way (across platforms) to have sing

It's not, because some middleman (library, framework, etc.) would assume that JSON is really about sending integers as doubles, hence you are getting only 53 or was it 54 bits precision, and then you end up sending an integer as "

Apart from being text format, I'm not sure how well JSON-RPC handles doubles vs long integers and other types, where protobuf can be directed to handle them appropriately. That is a problem in JSON itself, so you may neeed to encode so
