This title a very subtle trap for those who do not read articles. :P

Why do "people" links lead to "people4people.ru"? I'm afraid to click it. Is it malware on my machine?

I am somewhat confused by this article since to me it sounds like the writer has wanted the reader to think intrusive lists are "trickier and weird", when they have been my bread and butter during all my C work... And I guess I am

Not sure what to say -- Steam is horribly slow, as it is Firefox.

You are right, I'm not the potential client but damn I would like to use this. I'm lucky only a minimal part of all web services use this pricing system.

Not that the person I replied to was treating them as such. I'm a socialist myself so I feel sympathy for a communist, even if I don't agree with him.

If you have to choose between a conspiration of communists and jacobinists, and normal people that just disagree with you...

There's a huge psychological barrier when buying things like this one. Even if it costed $0.99. (Think about apps.)

What I mean is, there is a huge amount of people that started learning programming just because they wanted to do some web related stuff, and probably WordPress themes are king.

Unless it is sarcasm, you are wrong. Just look at PHP and you'll see how wrong you are.

Then it is not complete, or the search system does not work very well, since I can not find a torrent I uploaded over a year ago.

That's a very old dump of the database, I'm afraid.

Unfortunately, lately TPB was something which is far away from what it should have been; too many ads, the lack of daily archives of magnet links and buggy and closed software.

From what the article says (and it's not very concise as you can see) it's not listening for connections, or at least it's not listening for connections until it's "awoken" by something external.

If you get anxiety when you to have read what others think about your app, your problems are somewhere else.. mostly taking into account that you're uploading it to the app store, a place where almost nobody knows what open source is a

What's a good ride? I will tell you what a good ride is for me: the distribution of wealth. And that isn't working on the US now, so what can I say? It's hard to choose. But it's a purely political question, a matter of

A better job should have been done for the modal that is trying to sell you the product itself, I guess.

The central part of that service is a modal dialog... which does not look very good: https://i.imgur.com/iaxmLis.png (I have scrolled a bit with my mouse wheel to reach that state)

The truth is, I don't understand the point on having to download MBs of stupid animated images I will not even look at when I expect to see a commit diff.

That's what I thought; this is completely stupid. I already had a Game Boy emulator in my Sony Ericsson V630i, over seven years ago.
