This is so true. The flip side of "let small towns die" is "let big cities thrive".

In addition to the other reasons, there are hundreds of other things you have to attend to when planning and prepping a wedding. Figure out what's important to you and focus on those things first and foremost, automate the rest away (o

The video pipeline for the video shorts section is different from the reviews section. The reviews section is an older video pipeline not optimized for today's video streaming needs. Whereas video shorts was purpose built with a much i

This sounds like the HOV lane is not priced appropriately during rush hour traffic. Up the price and it should get better.

They really do need to do this. Any embedded tweets for Trump/about Trump should automatically have an ad underneath them. They've never had more eye balls on their tweets than now and they should capitalize on that.

Most likely they include a bit of Server Side Rendering using the same templates they have in their compiled asset. Actually getting to share code here would be a pretty big win.

It seems like age is a rather large driver of involvement in crashes (younger/newer drivers end up being more crash prone) according to here: https://www.aaafoundation.org/sites/default/files/2012OlderD..

Amazon's video streaming apps are pretty bad across most platforms, iOS excluded. It's extremely slow on the Xbox One and their search for some reason is absolutely awful.

Yeah their app and streaming quality are sub par in comparison to Netflix and Amazon. The app is quite slow on the Xbox One and confusing to use overall. Streaming is usually fine, but occasionally it stutters and hiccups severely despite m

That sounds awful. I'm fairly certain, Alaska and all other airlines use a 3rd party service to handle retrieving lost luggage. Having dealt with that myself on other airlines, it's a miserable experience all around with nobody kn

Definitely going to have to strongly disagree. Having dealt with customer service from both airlines, Alaska is a massive upgrade in competence, friendliness, and results. Alaska certainly isn't as fancy but I personally don't nee

That would be a great partnership. In my mind though, I feel like Disney would be the better acquirer. Think about how awesome it would be to goto Disney World and get to see Spiderman, Luke Skywalker and Mario all at the same time. They&#x

I don't see why this is an issue for the near future. If that happens, the car stops, you either clean the window or continue in manual mode. Where this breaks down is 15 years down the line when the newest set of drivers doesn't

There's already a USB-C charging laptop from Apple and that does not have any DRM in it...I highly doubt they'd do the same for chargers for the rest of the family.

I can't wait until Apple Pay and company are more widely deployed. It's significantly more secure and way faster than manual entry. Tokenization can't come fast enough.

I don't think this is true at all. I haven't touched iTunes in a long time. With direct iCloud syncing and direct phone updates, you never have to go into iTunes for just about anything.

I think this market is getting smaller and smaller year over year (I no data to back this up unfortunately). They could honestly build a MacBook with ARM in the near future while keeping the pros around with x86 for a while longer. They cou

It doesn't look like this works with the google authenticator app when restoring to a different device. For emergency passwords, does that mean you're keeping a printed out copy with you when you travel?

Generally agree here, but I'm thinking about real scenarios in which I may never be able to recover anything. One scenario is traveling abroad and having my phone stolen/lost.

The article is definitely super ranty and a bit overblown. The Fork/Join framework is actually pretty solid and works for a wide variety of use cases and has a relatively simple API. It's an excellent article though and I highly r
