This is the kind of content I'd like to see less of on Hacker News. > Off-Topic: Most stories about politics, or crime, or sports, unless they're evidence of some interesting new phenomenon. Videos of pratfalls or disasters, or

I take it as a sign of EU politicians writing laws that make a lot of content publishers on the internet making a choice of either walking on bureaucratic eggshells or simply blocking EU access altogether. Also California.

That could trigger the App Store review block. But this is Uber, so I'm guessing there's special treatment :)

Wow, this is terrible. Either fix the bugs, introduce non-standard behavior for all sites, or expect these big players to fix their own problems.

Attaching an air filter to a box fan doesn't look great and sounds loud. There's no remote and no pivot or heating functions.

There are software projects that get posted once in a while on HN that are on a completely different level of quality, whether it's product, UX, or tech. This is one of those posts.

Just learned that this person owns DNA Lounge (and pizza?), and is a founder (early contributor?) of Netscape and Mozilla.org. I've lived and worked in that particular area of SF for years and haven't known this.

People who invest in crypto know this... they just don't say it often or just lie to themselves enough to believe their own delusion.

Just to summarize for my own understanding/fascination: this person DIY's 500 doses of nasal-spray COVID-19 vaccine for $1000 using ingredients and tools off of Amazon and easy-to-source synthesized peptides with minimal skill?
