Why do we actually want to encourage superlinear returns. Is this something that's actually beneficial?

Software is more complex than a Wikipedia article. All Wikipedia articles have the same set of general conventions. Most software projects have their own conventions. Complexity brings greater cost.

I like your take, and it makes sense; but there ARE less jobs out there. Companies have less budget to spend on hires. Customers and clients have less to spend on digital.

Drupal is only open source. Theres a specific versioned API. Less of a wild west by the sound of it.

Why are so many WordPress sites I've seen in such a mess though? Proprietary plugins, open source plugins, half broken themes, conflicts, security holes .. These things seem par for the course? -- Drupal has a huge ecosystem too, and i

I've never really delved into wordpress deeply; but it feels like the ecosystem is fragmented, lacks any standards and is littered with proprietary plugins that are no longer supported by the authors; and create conflicts with other pl

This is very interesting to me. I'd love it if I could also use my mobile devices to bring up paper docs instantly (mobile phone, tablet, kindle).

I really can't understand why an organisation would choose wordpress. What are the benefits over an enterprise CMS like Drupal 10?

I'm not sure .. I think multiple people on a project can be a really good thing. Will definitely be interesting to see if new art forms develop off the back of this though.

My takeaway from this type of tech is that it stands change human culture drastically. We won't be able to value photography in the same way, so the place photography has in society will naturally change as a result. If all photography

> According to The National, German airline Lufthansa said it ran 18,000 empty flights in the winter of 2021-2022 to ensure it didn’t lose lucrative deals that gave its planes spots at major airports. This is scandalous.

Absolute nonsense. Extra chromosomes don't come about due to unjust political choices being made on behalf of parts of the electorate. Poverty is generally outside of the control of _those who suffer it_ largely because money brings po

Love the music contrasted with a pretty whimsically comical robot. Reminds me of a toy frog that was around in the 1980s/90s where a pressed rubber indent created a timed 'pop' which propelled the toy frog up and over.

The logical reasoning here, is that a poor person needs to become 'not-poor' to be able to have children responsibly. This greatly trivialises the reality of poverty. People aren't poor by choice; they're often poor thro
