Mark Cuban is not solving ANYTHING. Can we please stop worshipping billionaires who got extremely lucky during market bubbles? I think Kim Kardashian has a better chance of fixing the drug prices.

This makes me think Microsoft should just pay up and buy Intel because it will be hard to compete with Macs in a year or so.

This pretty much sums up American tech scene: stealing ideas is the best use of capital. I wonder what it is like to live in a society where creativity is actually valued and rewarded.

I think these hardware manufacturers figured out that they can just keep prices high. Memories and SSD manufacturers especially.

I had a PO box that I kept for my side business. Never really used it other than to have it as my address, but I received so much junk. I had to go in and clean it out every week. If I didn’t, I’d get notices from the post office. I finally

F-150 is the second best selling vehicle in the WORLD. Not just the US. Think about that for a moment. Even if Ford simply replaces 1/2 of them with EV, that’s more than 15x what Tesla delivered in 2021.

Counter: Ford dealerships actually give them a big advantage over Tesla. This is because there are close to 3,000 dealerships in the US compared to less than 200 for Tesla.

I think Sheryl is going out near the top here. She literally rode this generation of SV wave from the beginning. From a Larry Summers’ protege to one of the most influential executives on the planet. Despite all the negatives associated wit

You have all these companies reporting record profit and margins, but somehow they can’t pay people more? We are seeing this behavior all across the supply chain. These companies are skimming more and more off of the top with “pandemic” and

Here’s my counter argument: public high schools do it for far less. Outside of maybe 40 research institutes in the US, the rest offer about the same education as a good public high school. It’s really not unheard of to hear college grads sa

It’s difficult for me to feel bad for these institutions. They jacked up tuitions and caused an entire generation of people to carry lifetime of crippling debt.

OPEC especially the Saudi could increase output and put an end to this stupidity. Instead they are trying to milk the world as much as possible. They’re not only going to cause the next recession but accelerate EV adoption. I don’t think th

I went down this rabbit hole about a decade ago. Spent a lot of time and money on a home lab. While it’s cool, the payoff is just not there. I switched to Google/AWS a few years ago and never looked back.

This resonates with me as well. I went to a school with similar grade structure. Exams were hard. And when I saw exams for the exact same science classes at MIT and Harvard, I was shocked how easy they were. For this reason, I still refuse

Buy a Topre and be done with it. RealForce or HHKB. You can’t go wrong with either of those keyboards. I am also going to say something controversial: none of the Cherry-style switches are worth the hassle because they’re all flawed.

You’re right we do have a standard but that’s not the same as having regulations in place to enforce those standards. Normally, I wouldn’t mind a free market approach but with electric cars, we want to accelerate adoption as much as we can.

We really need regulations to standardize batteries and charge stations in the US. Federal govt really dropped the ball here and their failure to do so is hampering adoption. And I don’t know how the US govt gave away billions without these

I really think it’s insulated especially compared to the housing market collapse. This is because most banks will not take your crypto as 1:1 collateral whereas housing was perceived to be nearly risk-free. A big difference. I am not saying

Price discovery just happens on a different pace mostly around earnings. But you’re still at the mercy of market makers which is a big problem on its own. We also have bonds/convertibles to help price securities.
