the ecosystem will catch up eventually, keep building it around a public company is terrible idea. Raspberry is overestimating their value.

This one kinda makes sense, buy a multiplayer desktop app and add ChatGPT as a default player. I dont think they care too much about the "human" collaboration. API's are much harder to sell than fancy apps.

maybe I am missing something but isn't it barely faster than the offical ESP32_JPG? But fair enough, didn't know than JPEG decoding on MCUs is a widespread thing.

But they keep accepting PR, shouldn't they tag from now and then so people know what is "stable"?

but consumers do? (almost) Nobody will pay apple level prices for something that has less software support and, overall, a worse experience than on macos. TBH, other than gaming, not sure why anyone is paying 1k+ for a Windows laptop.

Prob beacuse they are like super-behind in the cloud space, it is not like they wouldn't like to sell the service. They ignored photos privacy quite a few times in the icloud.

And the author is not documenting them either, just announcing his new niche library. It is not like disassembling a few functions to prove that they exist is dark magic. I just don't see any value in the article.

Was it a secret? You could have guessed that something advertised [0] for "AI" had some kind of SIMD. Even ChatGPT 3.5 can give relevant code to use "AI" features [1]. 0: https://www.espressif.com/en/

You are making it sound like it was a compilation process optimization, but it is just CI thing.

I mean, if it supports vcpkg (which is also cross-platform) natively then this should be trivial, am I missing something?

I dont know their needs, but last time I tried to do a computer-vision project on C#, all libraries in Nugets where shitty wrappers for cloud solutions or just paid libraries (last update to OpenCV is 7 years old).

wouldn't that require breaking the ABI? Many enterprise wont be happy if they do so. Also, there is not way to prevent using old cuda compilers.

Wouldn't C# be the most reasonable option if so? Maybe they did the math and the .NET ecosystem is much more expensive than Java? Even ignoring MS cost, most 3rd party libraries on .NET usually require a license.

Personally, it always run fine at the beginning until it isnt and then you have to spend the rest of the day trying to figure out what is wrong. For desktop that is it, servers can just run 24/7 without problems (mine just run containe

Maybe the LLM was prompt to write a rejection letter based on the cv and job description and the model couldn't find anything wrong and made stuff up.

Much better as home-servers (450~ euros for a barebone 1340p is a pretty good deal). They have really good IO and linux support.

maybe add SerenityOS to the title? Almost sure that lock_guard is the ideomatic way to do this on cpp, not buying the "forget to lock".

you could argue that this LLM's will benefit more users than the produced value itself lost on sea of SEO garbage. But my point is that the openness wont stop because people will still need to show their craft for better employment opp

Let's not pretend that is just altruism why people "open-source" their art or code. Most of them do it to get noticed.
