Ah yes, nothing like exploiting teenage girls and pretending to be feminist liberal progressive while doing it! There is no physical pimp in this case, but lots of viral marketing duping immature teenagers into believing they can make it b

I cannot stand this manufactured outcry over a nothing burger. The EU wanted to make a big deal out of selling citizenship. Like how DARE Cyprus sell citizenship that comes with EU membership! No, rich people should sign up for an "&qu

I wonder what will happen with the vaccine deals that governments have been doing. Like, what if they pre-ordered from one manufacturer whose vaccine proves inferior to the other ones?

I think the more tactful way to go about this is to create a subscription support program, and ask all commercial users to sign up to get priority support. Or just create separate commercial licenses for commercial use.

Why are you putting the blame on the whole of humanity? Go place the blame on well off white western women, who are probably the main consumers of such products. I literally never owned anything made of out fur, let alone mink fur.

E-bikes are the worst thing on Dutch cycling paths. I experienced them for two years. People speeding irresponsibility on these things going 40kph and practically inaudible. They just zoom past you and you're completely unaware of thei

The supply chain that caters specifically to ICEs is huge and all of that will have to go when electric motors replace ICEs. The same goes for all the technology, tooling and expertise that goes into creating today's ICEs. Imagine how

For simulation type jobs where you are solving PDEs for some kind of nontrivial domain: * universities sometimes have scientific programmers * national labs in your country will definitely have some people doing such work * big names in ind

FYI, there are also offline and free locally running apps that you can use: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Routing#Mobile_device_so... I used OSMAnd and it works better than Google Maps for my area.

I do that too. May I ask if you work for a university or national lab or industry and how competitive the pay is? I work for a university and the career prospects don't seem so good for me at this point.

These environmentalists come off as quite selfish if I might say so. They take public land who belongs to all and redevelop it into their "dream" whatever it may be, and they do not care at all how it impact other people who previ

What I find interesting is how the story is framed. In particular why do articles about corruption in the US (and other first world countries), never feature the word "corruption" explicitly? It is implied that there is corruption
