If you have a personal and a school/work around on Microsoft platforms, and you use them daily, I bet you can be asked to log in 500 times in a couple of week of intense use. And each time you'll be asked if you want them to "

Also plain text files are usually generated. They are arrays of 1s and 0s. No one wants to write that by hand. I think that this is not a sensible definition of a generated file. A more sensible definition is that a generated file is create

3 times the risk of death by traffic? This is the scariest thing I've ever read in my life; it is a staggering level of violence.

I think you are mixing up carbon monoxide contamination and carbon dioxide build up. They mean that with oxygen candles you don't risk having your very oxygen reserve introduce carbon monoxide in the air you breathe, as it could happen

Do people in Ontario use way less electricity than the rest of the country? If 40% of the people gets 60% of electricity from nuclear, I would expect the whole country to get at least 24% of electricity from nuclear.

It is interesting that Catholicism is deemed to have had such a big role in the drafting of the Hays code; I didn't know that. To me, as a European, the Hays code seems like the prototypical WASP thing - in the 30s US had prohibition,

Opening a window in winter in Wisconsin is very much not free... It's a classic OPEX vs. CAPEX tradeoff, plus the climate impact (of course building the ventilation system has a climate impact too, so there is a tradeoff there as well)
