Can you bring one claim of "mathematicians and ecologists" that their calculation would not be arbitrary? Those things ain't absolutes and human society is not made up of numbers and not calculable. So you can make approximat

No. I bought it especially, because it has a replacable battery, which is not a factor for the vast majority I believe. If that key would not have been switchable I would have returned it, though .. But seriously. Who would want that excemp

Every keyboard I used so far - and those were many, many, many - have the ctrl in the bottom left. Lenovo is the only weird excemption I experienced. So I believe people like me are the vast majority and you should maybe rather blame them,

Thinkpad laptops thankfully have the option to switch Fn and Ctrl Key in the bios, because that Fn in the bottem left is reserved by my muscle memory to ctrl and I won't change that.

That math is about animals in a fixed climate who don't do trading. Swiss people do. And that "how much would a population tolerate a reduction in the idyllic/scenic nature of their landscape" is a very arbitary factor t

Am aware of that, bug glyphosat is definitely not allowed and likely a result of neighbors spraying plentiful in bad wind conditions (there are strict regulations in theory, that are usually ignored in reality)

Possible and that is definitely a thing, but I personally I would not rule out, that there still can be a human behind it, just with that specific style and careful about his privacy.

"I don’t even know where we fit in." Giving directions and verifying its output? But my mental capacity is still limited. I can make way more prompts, than I can read code.

I also got curious, this is the most personal comment I could find https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=44498083 Funny, but might as well be generic, trained from reddit comments. What a time we live in.

That was funny, thank you. I am now reminded of a short trip with less tech savy folks, where I also on the trip noticed that the plan was a bit .. not working. And the person organizing it complaining to the bus driver, why they were not g

I am pretty sure there are many people living in swiss with temporary visa's and those will then be de facto kicked out, if they do not get their permissions extended.

Hm. Are there any difference in the consequences for the immigrants, if they are kicked out because of arbitrary population cap, instead of anti-migration laws?

So instead of adressing the article and provide the potential base for a intelligent debate, you decided to raise the bar by lamenting? My impression in general is that there is rather a very EU friendly view here on HN in general, but HN i
