grep is simple to use from a simple command. Setting up a Java server and maintaining it is quite a different challenge then running a command with a few parameters. I wouldn't use it because if it goes down, fuck. If I need to ext

I agree that a language doesn't define you but what I wonder if a person's favorite language has some correlation to certain personality traits. I would be lieing if I didn't say I get more enjoyment from some languages wher

I understand your point of view, I guess I'm more bothered by how it seems to me that people are quickly to yell clickbait and just that which if anything could bring more attention to the article. I almost feel likes it's yellin

And that's the type of reaction I would encourage. Yes you stop clicking on a lot of articles, but you're less likely to waste your time. I find that instead of going to around yelling clickbait, just ignore it, or at least make

If I was developing a spreadsheet in the browser I would use the lowest level abstraction possible for performance (which is what they're doing since the jQuery is just a wrapper). When you're potentially managing tens of thousan

What is the support for IE? I can't find it. I figure that would be very important if it's going after enterprise companies.

One thing that irks me about libre office is its hacky VBA support. I would think that they would try to support it where I could open an excel file and have the VBA code run the same in both platforms. But a lot of the time it crashes ev

I just don't understand comments like these. Providing a blanket statement that doesn't provide any reasons whatsoever. It doesn't really help contribute to the post, and it just angers people. I hate the term troll, but

I like this idea a lot, but it's somewhat difficult to use when you have to flip back and forth in a sentence to connect parts of it together especially since a lot of languages cannot be translated word for word. It would be nice to

Absolutely agree with HeidiSQL. I'm in a situation where I'm still running MySQL 4.0.26 and essentially nothing properly supports that with the exception of the old MySQL query client (not workbench) and HeidiSQL which blows mysq
