Reminds me of the FidoNet nodelist. And the proliferation of alternate FTN networks back then. It's actually a nice solution.

In reality there is no such thing as a 'container'. You can create an incredible self-intersecting mess of process namespaces. It is not what you want to do in production. Also, docker is an overengineered mess. Kubernetes only an

I rode original 2T internal combustion scooters half of my life, all the way from '72 Vespa and up to ~20hp tuned Italjets. And the other half I rode motorcycles. The saying goes - you ride for a season, you fall at least once, no exce

This is untrue in my experience. I was using FreeBSD as my desktop for almost 15 years, since the 4.1 times, and the amount of work it took to make some sane vpn client out of an ubuntu is nowhere near what I had as my griefs with FreeBSD b

All you have to do is put an aluminum I-bar on top of the card if the cooler itself doesn't provide adequate rigidity, which I doubt. I'd guess if excessive stress on the PCIe slot was a problem, it'd be solved by combining a

Why bother? If things went so far that the secession is desired it is already a civil war, and constitution of 'some people out there over the creek' doesn't matter. I think that was the lesson of the 1860s.

It's the same stuff - namespaces, etc. But it doesn't shove greasy fingers into network config like docker. More a tooling question/approach than tech.

Well, yes, there is that. Although when you get at or above 12" wheels it's much better. Still, we have a local saying here - if you ride you fall at least once a year. If you didn't fall - you're not riding, you're

XT250 IMO is not very convenient for shopping. Something like Majesty 400 is much better, or even old 2T 100cc Neo's if you can find one. It's amazing how much stuff fits in under the saddle. And I once moved a full-size ironing b

Maybe that was the case 10 years ago. Or 15. Nowadays it's all automatic, there are no predefined zones - only past statistics and about zero operators. edit: srsly, that's what Uber is all about. and YTaxi is one of Moscow Ubers.
