Well, you could always investigate how to detach the wifi antennas, though it’s possible your Bluetooth will also stop working, and most TV remotes are Bluetooth these days.

I had to object to a few of these too. If you need an Office viewer, you can just download the office apps - unlicensed, e.g. on an iPad, you can read office files just fine. Microsoft Edge is better than ever. They killed the last vestiges

That’s a really good point. The first LTE cellphones I had were much faster to connect than 3G when loading webpages, but they weren’t as fast as they got a few years later, as LTE-Advanced started deploying, etc. Although part of the speed

Perhaps I didn’t explain myself fully. OpenPolicyAgent distributes the policy so you can integrate[1] it with systems that need to ask for validation such that lookups are constant time and performed on the same machine but distributed - sc

This is actually why I think we need more cloud and not less. The problem is poorly designed code, not monolith or microservice. For example, ValidationService as described above could be replaced with OpenPolicyAgent and would scale much b

Perhaps there’s an alternative to reduce the bundle size further: use code splitting or something like the shared module bundling that Webpack does for you when you have multiple entrypoints relying on the same shared code (if over a thresh

My preferred fix for Yarn dependency tracking is to use zero installs[1] as there is no command to run and dependencies can be exactly what ships in the repo and nothing more (with the right flags). If accepting PRs from third-parties, the

KDE connect does what the Remote Hippo app did a decade ago, from what I’m seeing of it’s documentation - let’s you use your phone as a trackpad and maybe share files and such. Yes, it’s more advanced, but it’s not a rethinking of things. T
