The law strongly disagrees, and for good reason. See: manslaughter vs murder.

The original page is what I wanted, originally. AMP has been a bad user experience as evidenced by the fact that this news story is near the top. AMP just boxes the user in, to the point of frustration.

I don't really disagree with you. I'm not a big fan of laptops at all, but they have become necessary in my life. I would prefer a desktop. That said, I use a 2014 MBP and feel it's already as portable as I need. If the 20

> The nature of a dev's daily work can vary greatly with what kind of dev they are doing. This was a very important part of your comment. It's good that 16gb isn't an issue for you, but for some of us, it is.

Virtual Machines. If you use VM's, 16gb is likely going to be a problem. I, quite easily, hit it all the time. It has nothing to do with being 'professional enough'. The nature of a dev's daily work can vary greatly

Cheney literally made up an intelligence agency to tell him what he wanted, after the CIA said there was no evidence of WMD. If you blame the CIA for that, you very mistaken.

If a modern mac does not meet that definition, then no modern hardware labeled as a 'PC' does.

He's talking about Javascript itself. The language has a ton of short-comings, hence the rise of languages that transpile to JS. I agree with the previous sentiment, we should replace JS with something better. JS is a nightmare.

I would bet that it's really in the single digit range. I think lots of programmers dishonestly claim to use it because its some sort of badge of honor to say you do.

This isn't helpful. This would be especially unhelpful and counter-productive within a team. Rather than criticize you could offer kind guidance on how the original author could improve. Who knows, perhaps we will disagree with your

I believe the tipping point usually refers to the release of Methane trapped in permafrost? Meaning the permafrost melts, releasing methane, and thus triggering a runaway greenhouse effect. Something like Venus.

You're right. I grew up in a very small rural town. I have a tendency to not take them seriously. The problem for me is that I've never heard any other group of people spew so much hate and bigotry as people in that small town.
