Fantastic! FWIW, ChatGPT as-is is good enough to know which (of a given set) of "tools" to use. I've had great fun doing prompt engineering: first asking it to pick which of a set of functions might be necessary to solve a p

It might, I haven't tried it (though maybe I should). I thought (maybe incorrectly) it was "super bleeding edge", depending on changing and bloating so many aspects of my existing setup as to make the setup useless to me for

I tried to use Anbox a few times over the last 4 years, it doesn't work. I'm sure I could get it to work on a dedicated system, where I matched whatever point release of the kernel and userspace it was designed to run with, but on

I agree with (basically) all of this, the larger point. I'll note that I said "or"... ;-) (CYA) I'm not sure what the "right" solution looks like, perhaps a directory of TOML or JSON files. Perhaps the aforem

I don't like the design at a fundamental level. It feels brittle, bloated, and not very unixy. I'd rather have my init system be a handful of microscopic executables, using text files or symlinks for configuration and text files
