Cool. Thanks! Already using MCT oil in lots of cooking :) Had no idea about dairy... interesting, I eat a lot of high fat cheese. Thanks for the references, I'll certainly read more.

Interesting links, thanks! (in case it helps anyone else...) About half a year ago I discovered that a brutally low carb diet -- leading to being in ketosis -- drastically helped my ADHD as well as other mental health things I've strug

Came here to mention Virgil, glad someone beat me to it. =) It's truly amazing how much can be gleaned from a perusal of the edit history for a page from the beginning. I assume much goes undetected.

I think you are (depressingly?) correct. c.f. Xi's China. I had no idea... In stories after stories I've heard from friends who escaped I kept thinking "this is just a cheap rip off of 1984". Of course, none of them had

This book was THE ONE that made me realize, far FAR later in life than my peers, (my early 30s) that reading fiction -- that horrible chore you were forced to do in high school -- can be fun. You never forget your first time. A close and l

It would be nice if things like this included some context. For instance: What is tailwind? Why is it important? What ecosystem does it live in and what problem does it solve?

No, not being included in Debian reflects poorly on the software. It implies there's something "wrong" with it. Perhaps it's too new, or too arcane, or in some other fashion doesn't live up to the operating system

Unsure how that was measured, but I'd like to see urxvtd up there. I'd bet a beer it's statistically significant faster. :)

Doesn't it feel sketchy to run a terminal that isn't even packaged by Debian? I run a few non-packaged things, but I don't want my terminal, or shell, or kernel to be "some code from a some person on github".

I use urxvtd and LOVE it. It's blissfully fast with a smaller memory footprint than anything else I've tried. edit: I should have mentioned, having the minimal overhead and most responsive terminal is a "tier 1" prior

They exist. Hard to find, but there. I found mine through a recruiter, first time doing so. Searching through my email, "Triple Crown" and "EdgeWater" are two recruiters I had good conversations with.

Bi-directional filament tape (aka "hexayurt tape") is a good one. Bonds quickly to most things, has absurdly great tensile strength as well. I also have an "exotic tapes" bin. :)
