1. I'm surprised that TDOA based multilateration works in software when the wave speed is the speed of light! EM moves fast! 2. This module (dw1000) looks expensive ! But maybe there's a use that justifies the cost? 3. I don&#

This part jumped out at me: > The vanced team will "NEVER" make its source code public. Making the source code available on the internet can cause serious complications for us. ??? Anyone have any idea (or even guesses) as to w

I love the idea of this. As a potential user, I'm disliking how many clicks it takes to find even an approximate price. Prices should be easiest to find.

Holy crap! I had no idea, my eyes are open. I've always assumed prices at retail shops are fixed, because, for the brief (and horrible) period of time _I_ worked retail, prices are set by corporate... Any suggestions? Advice? Links

It's really not that hard to just run your own DNS server locally. Then you're not beholden to anyone. I recommend it.

> The problem is that people with the skills and people with the motivation haven't overlapped in a significant way. Yeah... I, uh, have the skills (and I'm guessing you do too), but I don't see the point of the product.

It's been a while since I was deep in the guts of implementing USB HID devices, but I think you can specify in the descriptor if you're sending relative or absolute values. There's a rewarding UX that can be made by switching

I'm not entirely sure I see what your describing with certainty, but are you talking about essentially a "barrier client appliance?" A dongle you plug into all the machines you want to control using barrier, which connects

Spend just 5 minutes on the Wikipedia page for HDMI and you'll see how much of a folly this would be. :) It has like... 4? different physical layers running at different speeds and all sorts of other weirdness.

Geez, only a few months ago I noticed that synergy wasn't in APT anymore and had to learn about (and set up) barrier. Now it's forked again?! I don't know what, but this smells like something bad.

Yeah. I never served, but my understanding, both from common sense and an acquaintance who did is that you have to follow orders, or lose your job. How in the world are we supposed to have an effective military if we can't rely on th
