Agentic development still requires human review and human ownership of PRs. This is vibe coded. Seems precise to me.

My anecdote is that that has never happened to me and all IMAP clients seem fairly stable to me. Do with that information what you will.

Me neither, I also only use my headphones. I've only had to use mono mode on amateur youtube videos where one of the audio channels is just missing. It has never been an issue on big productions. Perhaps they're using a weird medi

Yes, that does seem super complicated compared to the plug and play setup 99.9% of people are using.

The font site is 9pt. It's just small. Not sure where someone got 12px from. The measurement is resolution independent, yes.

I felt the same about typescript early on. Now I really like it as I can easily program logic for hours without running the app once. I'm not sure I could do that without typing. It also makes reading code a lot easier. I can see where

You're right, it's not possible to set a custom search engine on safari. An extension is the only way. Blame apple :)

So you argument here is based on something that hasn't happened, but just something you pulled out of nowhere. Or was this meant humorously?

Why would apple identify the domain used for unsubscribes as in use solely for being a bounce tracker?

Please elaborate on this, as I'm not exactly sure what you mean. The email deliverability problem is a side effect of false positives in spam filtering. Unless you have a proposal to completely eradicate false positives?

Senders that apply dmarc and want their emails to be forwarded should use dkim. Forwarding a dkim signed message doesn't break dmarc at all.

Sometimes it's not about competence but about priority. If email is something a business does as a side thing and not a core thing, and if email keeps working without changing anything, there's no need or priority on setting up ne

This is just a standard unsubscribe header. It's added by the sender specifically for this purpose and has nothing to do with the UI you see. Not everything is AI, but it being the default assumption is funny to me.

Contacts and calendar are nice to have in the same place as email, because of needing to email contacts and because of calendar invites. Then again, if you use an email client you can use a mix of providers even for those features. I'm

To be honest, my first instinct was to give a hand wavy "use OAuth". But to elaborate a but further, oauth is made for this and is the industry standard for this kind of thing. There's lots out there on oauth that tells you m

TOTP usually only allows for about 30 seconds of time drift between the device and the server. If you really must set your phone to the wrong time you can use a cheap second device, or a hardware token. Technically if an authenticator app h

Just a background job queue library basically. Maybe with a fancy dashboard. That was my first impression.

My initial thought when opening your website was that this was a job queue, like BullMQ. Not a "link things together like IFTT/Zapier/N8N but in code" platform. I don't think I'd use "Background Jobs frame

The minimum invoice is $120. Though it seems they can waive that if they like you during sales. It's all a little vague which I honestly despise.

No problem! If it's helpful I'm glad. I do believe the original message wasn't meant to be snarky/arrogant at all, it just read that way. Maybe it reads a lot better in French! :)

IMO starting with "first of all we were there first" kind of sets the tone for the whole message. Here's how I would have written the same message: Hi! Lotus has a great product. We should know, as they reached out to us for

As far as I understand it there's no legal precedent, so we're not completely sure. Some say calling an api means it's part of your application, meaning you need to open source your app. Some say that that's not the case

You can use it with any email server, doesn't have to be hosted by yourself. It's not better than the Gmail web client or anything, but it may be better than a shitty corporate webmail, or just better than no webmail at all :)
